of rice and zen.com was created by saké aficionados for saké aficionados. Our goal: a website dedicated to saké, where one can find the how, who, what and where of the saké world. It also features the most comprehensive saké reviews available on the internet (see About Our Reviews), with technical information about a specific saké available with the click of your mouse. With an easy to use internal search engine, you will be able to access any saké that we have tasted and reviewed. And that list is growing weekly. Further, you will find one of the first interactive saké blog on the internet and articles culled from our travels, experiences and philosophies about saké.
It is important to note that we are an independent organization with no affiliation to any other saké organization, saké importer or producer. Our views and reviews uphold our philosophy that saké is a remarkable beverage that should be more readily understood, but more importantly, enjoyed with pleasure. Some will agree and some will not, but that is always the case with a beverage with such a storied past.
