Traffic Flow

Attention all Parents,

The health and safety of the students at Cutler Ridge Christian Academy is important to all of us. It has come to my attention that not all of you are aware of the traffic patterns necessary to maintain a good traffic flow and minimize the risk of accidents. There is a double loop pattern for both drop off in the morning and dismissal in the afternoon. In order for this pattern to be effective,  all traffic needs to enter from Anchor Drive and turn right or left depending on the grade level of the child.

All secondary children should enter at the Anchor Drive entrance point and turn right, whether being dropped off or picked up. Their designated area for arrival and dismissal is at the basketball court gate. In order to alleviate any cross traffic or left hand turns in front of oncoming traffic, then circle around exiting left onto Bahama Drive. At dismissal, if you’re child is not ready, you will be asked to circle around the lot in line or park in the grass beyond the trees. Please do not park in front of the church entrance and wait.

Elementary age children should enter at the Anchor Drive entrance point and turn left. Follow the parking lot pattern by taking a right in front of the church, then moving to the front of the playground, where the designated area for dropping off or picking up is located. All traffic then continues through the parking lot to exit onto Caribbean Boulevard. No entry can be made from Caribbean Boulevard for this will create two way traffic, which endangers the safety of your child. Also, at the 2:45pm dismissal, parents of K4 through second grade need to remain in their cars and the teachers or safety patrols will walk your child to the car.  At the 2:45pm dismissal, parents of third grade through sixth grade children should turn right and be ready to pick up their children from the basketball court gate. There are designated parking places for each grade level to line up and be dismissed from. So if you’re child is not ready for pick up, you will be asked to circle around the lot in line or park in the grass beyond the trees.

In case of multiple age or grade level children at the 2:45pm dismissal, please have your older child meet with the younger sibling at the playground pick up area. In addition, the school office is not an entrance for students.  When there is inclement weather, all students should be dropped off and picked up at the playground area. Your cooperation in this matter is essential to its success. May God bless you and your family.
